Arrival at Sorrento Pier
You’ll arrive at the historic Sorrento Pier. Collect your snorkelling equipment dockside and step aboard Moonraker — a purpose-built luxury vessel that immediately sets the tone for the day ahead. Find your spot on the open sun deck, settle into the lounge, or grab a coffee from the onboard café as the stunning Mornington Peninsula coastline unfolds around you.
Briefing & Into the Water
Your experienced marine guides will brief you before you enter the water, ensuring you feel confident and well-prepared — no prior snorkelling experience is needed. Then it’s time for the main event. Our walk-in swim deck makes entry effortless, and within minutes you’ll be sharing the water with playful wild fur seals in their natural environment. These curious, energetic creatures are known to interact with swimmers, making every encounter genuinely thrilling. Keep your eyes open too for the remarkable weedy sea dragon — one of the ocean’s most mesmerising animals, found only in southern Australian waters. Our guides are in the water with you the whole time.
Lunch & snacks
After your swim, change into dry clothes and enjoy lunch onboard, soak up the scenery, and relive the highlights with your fellow adventurers before heading back to Sorrento Pier.
Return to Melbourne — with Bonus Stops.
The return journey is makes three special stops on the way back:
· Rocky Creek Strawberry Farm — pick your own strawberries and grab something from the u-pick café
· The Bathing Boxes — snap a photo at one of Victorias most iconic and colourful landmarks
· Murray’s Lookout — take in sweeping panoramic views across Port Phillip Bay before joining the freeway back to Melbourne.
You’ll arrive back in the city at approximately 6:00pm.

Fitness level and experience required: Low to moderate fitness level; guests need to be comfortable swimming and spending time in the water. Our guides brief you fully before you enter the water and stay with you throughout the entire snorkel.
What if I can't swim: We understand this is an exciting experience and we are there to guide and support you, however you will need to have basic swimming ability and be comfortable in the water. If you have no swimming ability why not book as a sightseeing passenger, you will still have a fantastic time plus you can stay dry onboard!
What to bring: A swimsuit (worn under your clothes), a towel, and sunscreen. All snorkel equipment and thermal gear is provided.
