Meet us at our boat shed at the end of the pier, where we'll fit you with wetsuits and flippers to suit all shapes and sizes. Once you've collected your snorkeling equipment, board the luxury 'Moonraker' and meet your captain for check-in.

As we cruise into the sheltered shallow waters of Port Phillip Bay, relax on the upper sundeck, settle into the inside lounge, or breathe in the salt air from a beanbag lounge at the front of the boat. Your snorkel guides will walk you through all the activities and help you familiarize yourself with the boat's features.

The clear shallow waters are filled with friendly, inquisitive seals of all ages and sizes. You'll come face to face with these playful creatures as they glide around you. The seal structures often attract small sea stars and giant smooth rays—an underwater world you'll remember for life.

Discover Weedy Sea Dragons

Next, we venture to one of Port Phillip Bay's hidden treasures. Gliding gracefully through the kelp forests, the weedy sea dragons are one of Australia's most enchanting marine creatures. These delicate, otherworldly animals are a rare sight, and you'll have the opportunity to snorkel among them in their natural habitat. Watch as they drift elegantly through the water, their leaf-like appendages camouflaging them perfectly among the seaweed.

The Dolphin Encounter

Once dolphins are located, we carefully observe their behavior before approaching the pod. In small groups of 10, we slide quietly into the water and float on the surface. We wait, watch, and listen for the dolphin's squeaks and whistles to get louder—a sign they're about to join us.

Each encounter is totally unique. Sometimes they'll swim around us for endless minutes; other times they'll glide past for a look and continue on their way. We spend as much time with them as possible while ensuring we're not changing their behavior or lifestyle.

The dolphins are resident to Port Phillip Bay but are completely wild and aren't always located on every cruise. We believe this is part of the authentic experience of seeking out wild animals. Should you not see dolphins on your tour, you're welcome to come back for free anytime within 30 days.
